VEHICLE RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Lease Agreement
By this agreement, Prime Car Rental leases to the undersigned Lessee the vehicle described on the first page of this contract. The rental terms outlined herein have been read and accepted by the Lessee.
2. Authorized Drivers
Only the person(s) listed in this agreement are permitted to operate the vehicle. At the time of signing, the Lessee must present (in physical form) their driver’s license, passport, and credit card.
3. Vehicle Condition at Pickup
Upon taking possession of the vehicle, the Lessee has inspected and confirmed its condition as stated in the inspection report provided at rental, including the fuel level.
4. Off-Island Use
The Lessee must notify and obtain written consent from the Lessor if the vehicle will be used outside Naxos.
5. Return Condition
The Lessee must return the vehicle to Prime Car Rental in the same condition as received, including all tools/accessories, fuel level, and any other items specified in the signed rental agreement.
6. Rental Extensions & Late Returns
Extensions beyond 30 minutes without the Lessor’s approval will incur a full daily rental fee.
The Lessor reserves the right to cancel unpaid reservations If the customer fails to arrive within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup time without prior notice, the booking will be considered a no-show. For prepaid bookings, delays must be communicated (via email, SMS, or phone). Otherwise, the original rental terms (pickup/drop-off time) remain valid.
7. Damage & Mechanical Issues
The Lessee must immediately report any damage or mechanical failure to Prime Car Rental to activate the accident assistance coverage included in this agreement. The Lessee is responsible for towing costs to an authorized repair shop if the damage was caused by their actions.
8. Liability for Damage
In case of damage, wear, or an accident caused by the Lessee, they must pay the amount determined by an approved repair shop, subject to the deductible (CDW/SCDW/FDW)specified in the agreement.
9. Traffic Violations & Penalties
During the rental period, Fines for traffic violations (including drunk driving, drug use, or parking tickets) are the Lessee’s responsibility.
10. Termination of Agreement
The Lessor may terminate this agreement and charge the Lessee if the vehicle is misused, including but not limited to:
Commercial transport
Towing/pushing another vehicle
Speed racing
Driving under the influence
Overloading passengers
Off-road driving
Operation by an unauthorized driver (under 19 or without a valid license)
11. Insurance Coverage
Vehicles are insured for third-party liability (death, bodily injury, and property damage), including the driver and passengers of the rented vehicle (per the insurance policy terms).
Not covered:
a) Loss of personal belongings inside the vehicle.
b) Accidents involving a driver not listed in this agreement.
12. Security Deposit
A €650.00 deposit will be held (via credit card or cash, as noted in the agreement) and refunded 100% if the vehicle is returned undamaged.
If additional insurance coverage is purchased, the deposit amount adjusts to the revised deductible. For damages or extra charges, the required amount will be deducted from the deposit.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes between the Lessor and Lessee shall be settled by the Courts of Naxos.
14. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 7 days prior to the rental get a full refund (100%)
Cancellations made between 7 days to 48 hours before the rental are charged 20% of the total agreed rental amount
Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the rental, are non-refundable.
